This policy (Privacy Policy) governs how
Orbis Investment Management (Australia) Pty Limited and Orbis Investment Advisory Pty Ltd (together
Orbis Australia, we, us) deal with the
collection, security, quality, use and disclosure of any information that personally identifies you
(Personal Information), and is in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your use of
this site indicates that you accept the Privacy Policy, and consent to the collection and
use by us of your Personal Information according to the terms below.
Orbis Australia may from time to time amend the Privacy Policy, and users are advised that
continued use of the site following amendment is deemed confirmation of acceptance.
How and why we obtain Personal Information
In order to provide financial products and services to our clients efficiently and accurately,
we may collect Personal Information about our clients and former clients from the following
sources: (1) information we receive from Orbis Group (meaning Orbis Australia and its related bodies corporate,
together known as the Orbis Group) documentation, including applications or other
forms and (2) information about clients' transactions with the Orbis Group and others
(including information such as clients' holdings and transaction activity). The Personal
Information we collect from these sources may include your name, location and contact details.
Our use of Personal Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect clients' Personal
Information. We will not sell clients’ Personal Information to anyone. It is our policy
not to disclose this information except within the Orbis Group, or to others as required
by law. Personal Information received by other members of the Orbis Group will be maintained
in accordance with the Orbis Group Privacy
Policy. We may also disclose this information to fulfil client instructions,
or with clients' express consent. From time to time, Orbis Australia and other members of the
Orbis Group may disclose clients' Personal Information to third parties that perform processing
or servicing functions or client relationship services on our behalf (such as the Orbis Group's fund's
administrators or auditors). They are required to maintain the confidentiality of such
information to the extent they receive it, and to use the information only in the course of
providing such services.
If you do not wish Orbis Australia to use your Personal Information for these limited purposes,

Exceptional circumstances
In the following exceptional circumstances, Orbis Australia is entitled to disclose Personal
Information without your consent:

yourself or another person;

You acknowledge that Orbis Australia's right to disclose Personal Information under the
Privacy Policy may involve disclosure to entities located outside Australia. Where Orbis
Australia is required or authorised to disclose your Personal Information, you consent to
the disclosure of your Personal Information to foreign entities.

right to request the correction of any information which relates to you and is inaccurate. If
you would like Orbis Australia to delete your Personal Information, please let us know and we
will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless we are required by law to keep it.
