How to Invest
Before you Apply
Please note, the fund is open only to Wholesale Clients who are resident in Australia or New Zealand.
Please read the following important points about the application process:

Before you apply, please ensure you have read and understood the fund's
Information Memorandum (IM). You should always seek professional
financial and tax advice before making a decision to invest in the fund.
- The minimum initial investment amount for the Investor Class is A$2,000,000
- The minimum initial investment amount for the Refundable Reserve Fee Class is A$15,000,000
- The fund only accepts Australian dollars
- The fund deals on the first Thursday of every calendar month (the Dealing Day)
- The deadline for receipt of applications is 2pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on a Dealing Day

Your application will only be processed once we are in receipt of your
Customer Identification document(s) and
State Street Australia Limited have received and accepted your completed application form and cleared funds
- If you prefer to invest by cheque, please ensure the payee name is "State Street Bank and Trust Company"
- For joint accounts, all applicants must sign the Application Form
- A completed Application Form needs to be received for subsequent applications

The Application Process
To make your investment in the Orbis MIS Global Equity Fund:

Ensure you’ve read and understood the Information Memorandum (IM)
and then complete all relevant sections of the Application Form. This can be found at the back of the IM.
Pages 13-14 also provide some useful information on how to complete the application form.
- Indicate your choice by marking boxes with a
where applicable
- Ensure the Wholesale Client Declaration has been ticked (Section 8)
- Ensure that the Orbis Wholesale Client Declaration form has been completed and signed (available on request)
- Ensure your application is signed (Section 8)

Ensure your funds have been remitted to our Custodian, State Street Australia Limited (refer to the
Application Form for bank details)

If you are a new investor in the fund, ensure you have sent the required
Customer Identification documents to:

- You should receive a transaction confirmation statement within 5 business days after the Dealing Day
Customer Identification Procedures
The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (AML/CTF Act) requires us to verify the identity of all
new investors in the Orbis Funds. All new applications must be accompanied by appropriate identity documentation before
they can be processed. Please be aware of the following:
- Your application may be delayed or refused if the documentation does not meet compliance regulations
- Under the AML/CTF Act we are obliged to report any suspicious dealings to the regulator
- From time to time we may request additional information from you
